Amand's fab trip to Disneyland Paris

Euro Disney Fam Trip.
It has always been said that the Magic of Disney is infectious and indeed it is...
For I found myself waving at characters, Lining up to have my photograph taken with them and smiling like a cat that got the cream for the whole trip.
We started our adventure with an Air France flight which was very comfortable and we were supplied with a cup of tea/coffee and a muffin (free of charge) always an added bonus on a flight.
The flight took approx one hour forty five mins.
When we arrived at our hotel it was too early to check in, but they had an area to store your bags until check in time later. We were staying in the Sequoia Lodge which had a lovely warm feeling to it with a large bar area and a welcoming open fire.
Rooms were basic but had all we needed. I did forget my 2pin adapter but you could hire one from the reception with a refundable €10.00 or there was also the option to buy items in the shop within the hotel. This was very convenient.
At check in we received our welcome packs containing our Passes for the park and it is very handy to have/get a plastic holder for the tickets which you can wear over your neck.
So off to the Parks we go......Here you can experience the Big Thunder Mountain, Crush’s Coast, Indiana Jones Temple of Peril and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain - Not for the faint hearted !
Younger clients will like Ratatouille, Slinky Dog Zigzag spin and Mad Hatters Tea Cup to name a few....
*** Fastpass tickets are well worth getting. At most of the rides/shows there is generally a queue, the Fastpass will show the waiting time at the entry and it will also show the fastpass waiting time which will be less...Meaning you get to skip ahead of the general queue. This is hugly advantageous when on a short trip.
The fastpass can only be used at any one time – Meaning if you wanted to go to a show –using your fastpass it will tell you what time to be back at, but you cannot use it to go on a ride until after the show.
Photopass is another good idea. This is where your picture is taken on the rides / meetings with any of the characters and you can scan it onto your photopass. All these pictures can be downloaded when you get home and recapture the treasured memories.
Restaurants within the park can be prebooked and in high season this is recommended...Menus vary in price starting at €25.00 - € 30.00 per adult and € 15.00 - € 18.00 per child and upwards.
Most of the hotels are within walking distance to the parks...
We visited the Cheyenne Hotel, Newport Hotel and the Disneyland hotel and it was a great opportunity to see all their facilities and compare the differences.
The hot chocolate in the Disneyland hotel is absolutely scrumptious....yummmm
We got to see the Characters Parade and the illusions which were amazing. Well worth the waiting in the rain....
Disney has it all – Magic, excitement, exhilarating and the Wow factor.
