Maldives Family holidays to the idyllic Kuramathi Island

Introduction

Kuramathi Maldives offers an ideal holiday paradise setting for all the family with its turquoise lagoon, soft white sandy beaches, tropical lush greenery and a variety of amenities and facilities that the youngest to the eldest members will enjoy. Bageecha Kids Club includes a large outdoor play area and offers fun-filled schedule for 3 to 12 year olds.

The Two Bedroom Beach Housesare ideal for families or friends travelling together, these villas are duplex and have separate living spaces with individual entrances. Both come with expansive bedrooms, spacious airy bathrooms complete with bath, shower, twin vanity and outdoor rainfall shower. They are located at the top end of the island facing either the lagoon or reef and each will accommodate 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 children.

Above and below the water

All our resorts offer a wide choice of water sports from glass bottom kayaks to wind surfing and from wake boarding to kite surfing. In addition each island has it’s own PADI certified dive centre. For the more experienced divers certain resorts such as Kuramathi & Maafushivaru offering “blackwater” dives. In fact Kuramathi Maldives is one of only 3 resorts in Maldives to have it’s own decompression chamber.

Recreation
The island Aqua sports centre offers a wide range of non-motorised water sports including windsurfing, stand-up paddle surfing and kayaking. For those keen on thrill and excitement, try water skiing, banana rides or fun tubes.
A full range of excursions is available ranging from island hopping, visits to local islands, snorkelling trips, sunset cruise and big game fishing.
Rashdoo Divers operate one dive school on the island (affiliated PADI Gold Palm/SSI facility) so you are never more than a few minutes walk from the wonders of the Indian Ocean.

Kids Club

Kuramathi is dedicated to profiding an exciting holiday for the entire family and welcome young guests to the Kids Club at Bageecha, Kuramathi. A variety of outdoor and indoor activites is organised for kids of 3 to 12 years including activities such as treasure hunts, beach activities, nature walks and marine life education with visits to the resort's Eco Centre. Bageecha is also open from 19:30hrs to 24.00hrs by prior reservation, at extra charge.
